Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. My name is Shawn Torres. Here you will find samples of my work as a designer/developer spanning print, web and motion mediums.
Currently, I am the Manager for Information Technology at the Cosmos Club located in Washington D.C. and a graduate student at Quinnipiac University pursuing my masters in Interactive Media and Communications.
I have an extensive background spanning print, interactive, mobile and video. During the course of my career I have had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients such as Fruit of the Loom, Spalding, American Trucking Associations, television networks such as A&E, Readers Digest, FUSE, MTVnetworks, non-profit and educational institutions such as New York University and Columbia University. I approach every project, large and small with the same attention to quality, speed, performance and costs. As you explore my website, you will get a peak inside the engine and learn more about many of these projects.
I am a team player who can successfully develop and execute your integrated brand and outreach strategy from concept to launch. An individual who understands the challenges of both the front user interface and back end integration. Who can bridge both great design and code in any given project. I love to work hard, utilize best practices, learn from others and collaborate while striving for superlative outcomes in terms of quality, costs and performance. I enjoy being in environments where people are looking at the future, not the past, are hopeful, sincere and see how technology improves our lives and has the power to shape a brighter tomorrow.
Designer, developer, daddy….dreamer.
